The issues raised by the locals when it came to transport links in Stretford were mainly focused on the Trams, Cars and Subways in the area.

The feedback for what the residents would change in Stretford's public realm was reflective of what they thought were issues - the desire to include plants and greenery being one of the most frequently raised points. However, some of the ideas that were frequently mentioned here were not present in what they identified as issues.

The feedback relating to the public realm in Stretford focused particularly on the lack of green spaces, alongside the objections made to the UA92 proposal. Much of this feedback was in the form of suggestions for improvements, rather than complaints about the situation.
The feedback for this was a little more spread out and far more diverse, in terms of scale and implementation. Cycling was mentioned most frequently in people's repsonses, which is something that greatly excites us.

Looking closer at the data, we noticed that there were a few more layers to the information we gathered in this exercise.
The comments we received on the postcards could be split into four parts, comments that are issues raised by the residents and comments that are suggestions or ideas that the residents had to improve Stretford. Within these, we then further broke the feedback down into the comments addressing the public realm and comments addressing the transport links in Stretford. Both these are not mutually exclusive nor necessarily accompanying, but they all add to the picture we're trying to build of Stretford.
